Lee Resta, MD

Dr. Resta graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Chicago and earned his medical degree from Duke University.  Additional education included an MBA from Cornell University.  He continued his medical training at the University of Texas – Southwestern Medical Center and post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital. 

Dr. Resta completed his hematology and oncology fellowship at Johns Hopkins University.  While at Johns Hopkins, Dr. Resta was a co-investigator on several clinical trials, in addition to performing his regular duties as a physician.  He would like to continue pursuing his interest in research. 

Dr. Resta is originally from Pennsylvania.  In his spare time, Dr. Resta enjoys reading, listening to music, and hiking.  Dr. Resta cares for patients in our Reston and Fairfax office.
